CRiCity

Eunice Castro Seixas, Principal Investigator of the CRiCity project, participated in the International Seminar on Environment and Society “Current challenges and pathways to change”, on March 2 2020, Lisbon, with the paper: “Dimensões humanas e não humanas da sociabilidade e da regulação das crianças nos parques urbanos de Lisboa”.

As coordinator of the CRiCity project and researcher of SOCIUS, CSG, ISEG, University of Lisbon, Eunice Castro Seixas was invited to participate, in another meeting of the project LigAções, which was held at Graal terrace, in Lisbon, on the 27th February.

Eunice Castro Seixas and Inês Barbosa presented CRiCity findings from Lisbon and Porto at Jornadas “Crime, Espaços e Comunidade”.

As coordinator of the CRiCity project, Eunice Castro Seixas was invited to participate,  in the 2nd meeting of the project LigAções, which was held at Graal terrace, in Lisbon, on the 13th December. 

Eunice Castro Seixas and Benedita Portugal Melo participated in the “Seminário O Direito da Criança à Participação”, in Almada, as invited speakers.

This event, which took place in the University of Aveiro, Portugal, 15 November 2019., organized by Rosa Madeira, Inês Barbosa (CRiCity fellow) and José Carlos Mota, aimed to promote reflection and debate on the theme of the involvement of children and young people in the enjoyment and construction of the city.

This Forum, which took place at Campus Nova SBE Carcavelos, 4-5 November, 2019., is part of Cascais Child-Friendly City Program and the event itself started with the signature of the protocol "Cascais Child-Friendly City" between the Cascais City Council and the Portuguese Committee for UNICEF.
